2024 BMW R 1300 GS
Introducing the 2024 BMW R 1300 GS: the latest evolution in Bavarian adventure touring. This lighter, more compact, and technologically advanced masterpiece marks a significant step forward in the GS lineage.
While the roots of this bike can be traced back to the iconic R 80 G/S, which made its debut in 1980, the 2024 R 1300 GS bears little visual resemblance to its predecessor, except for the iconic boxer twin engine. However, the core philosophy behind this new machine remains true to its heritage. This release represents the most substantial visual and technological overhaul in the GS series in quite some time, signaling BMW’s commitment to staying competitive in the European market.
The most prominent change is in the bike’s aesthetics. BMW has taken a fresh approach, moving away from the signature asymmetric front headlight design. Underneath the streamlined bodywork, though, you’ll discover familiar elements that have been meticulously refined and fine-tuned, resulting in a lighter, more responsive, and more rider-friendly experience.
